International Quilt Festival, Long Beach

This was my second year to attend IQF at the Long Beach Convention Center. I had one art quilt in the Studio Art Quilt Associates exhibit, “Points of View.” I got to catch up with old friends and make new friends. The person in this photo is one of my new friends, Yaa. She was helping her mother in the vendor booth called “Ananse Village.” The batiks are from Ghana and are amazing. Of course there were several other vendor booths that I enjoyed. I was also inspired by lectures and the art work in the exhibits. My friend Susan took this wonderful photograph.
